Introduction to Odor

Building on the foundation skills learned in the Introduction to K9 Nose Work class, your dog will transition to searching out target odors (Birch or Wintergreen essential oil will be introduced) while working on and off leash. You will continue to develop observation and timing skills while incorporating advanced leash handling exercises. Hides that are unknown to the handler are introduced and continued emphasis will be put on encouraging your dog's independent searching abilities.
